Member and Community Resources

On April 22, 2025, Cville Village hosted a Zoom talk by Sandra Butler, author of Leaving Home at 83. It’s the story of her decision to leave the home and community she’d known for 50 years and move to a residential facility in a new city near her children, and what happened next. Sandy shares some of her story and insights into late life changes. If you were unable to attend the talk in person, you can watch it here.

Apologies for starting the recording about 10-15 minutes after Sandy started speaking, thus missing some introductory remarks.
